Trooper Brett Hall, 2nd Royal Tank Regiment
Trooper Brett Hall, aged 21, was brought up in Dartmouth, Devon. He joined the Army in November 2006, aged 18. He leaves behind parents, Susan and Peter.
He died following injuries sustained when an explosion hit his Combat Logistic Patrol in rural north-west Helmand province.

It is because of the bravery of yourself, and the sacrifice that you made, we shall be forever thankfull, and never forgetfull of what you did, we, the british people will never ever forget, RIP Brett you are truly everybodys hero.

I did not know this very brave young man, I feel very sad when I hear of a death of our soldiers. Having read the Army tribute, Bret was a very popular, hard working, courageous soldier. I watched today as the hearse drove past in Dartmouth, we were all moved and I for one had tears in my eyes.
My heart goes to the family and friends of Bret. Only time will help you through these dark days.
Another young man taken from us far too soon.
Brett go stand by my son he was waiting for you along with all your comrades, you will never be forgotten and will be loved everyday by those who knew you in life and those of us who know you now.
